Few months later Joseph and Mary came to Bethlehem. They stayed in a cowshed. That night Mary gave birth to Jesus. At that time shepherds were watching the sheep in the field. Gods angel appeared to them and announced that a savior was born. The shepherds went and adored the divine son. At the birth of Jesus a tail start appeared in the sky.
This is the time of the year when emotion can be quite intense and often it can be miss interpreted. Being down or a bit turned off by the Christmas Season as many people are is simply a sign that what you desire and what you are experiencing is not aligned. Whats off is the focus of your attention.
With gift shopping, preparing the house for visitors, cooking and baking to organise, you probably have a lot to juggle as Christmas approaches. Being prepared before the Christmas rush hits will save you a lot of time and stress - allowing you to relax and enjoy the holiday season. Do some of your Christmas food shopping in October or November, buy presents early or order them online, and make a list of what needs to be done. Ticking tasks off your list gradually throughout November and December will ensure an easy, stress-free Christmas.
This Christmas, give yourself plenty of time to prepare and dont worry if something goes wrong. After all, Christmas is not about where you spend it, or what you do - its about who youre with!
To make the Christmas tree cutting more fun, why not pack warm treats in a picnic basket and have a snack right where you intend to get your tree? If picnicking is not your style, you can stop by a restaurant. Or, after the tree is safely back home, everyone can drive to the nearest shopping mall to purchase ornaments and series lights to decorate the tree, or like most of us, get down the box of ornaments stored in the attic.
If youre cooking for a lot of people, chances are your kitchen (and fridge) just wont be able to cope with the volume of food required. Not to mention, trying to cook and prepare everything yourself can be a huge burden. By delegating certain tasks or meals to different family members or friends, you can make your job much simpler. Let other family members take care of cold dishes like salads and desserts so you can focus on the hot dishes and save room in your kitchen. Remember, you dont have to do it all yourself - youre always entitled to ask for help from friends and family!
